Why buy through a certified DVBE
California sets a participation goal of at least 3% of state contract dollars for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises and at least 25% for certified small businesses. Anchor Ridge Solutions holds both certifications, so a single purchase can count toward both goals.

The streamlined path
Under Government Code sections 14838.5 and 14838.7, a department may use the SB/DVBE Option to contract directly with a certified small business or DVBE for goods, services, and information technology valued between $5,000.01 and $249,999.99. The department obtains quotes from a minimum of two certified businesses. No advertising is required, and DGS estimates the process can save roughly 90 days against a competitive solicitation.
